Animal Therapy

Animal Therapy

I'm here for the pets.

Animal Therapy

Animal-assisted therapy can significantly reduce pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and more.  Pet therapy has been shown to improve energy levels, self-esteem, mood, and decrease depression.  The simple act of petting a dog during your therapy session can increase the effectiveness of therapy, lower your stress, and help to push through your internal walls.

Pet therapy is especially helpful for attachment and developmental disorders.

Strider

Strider is a Husky, German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd mix. He enjoys patrolling the home yard, playing keep-away with his mom, and helping clients relax by allowing them to pet him. His favorite thing in the world is belly rubs.

Talk with Cherie if you'd like to have Strider in one of your sessions.
